Britta Thomsen is an Adjunct Professor at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark and a former Member of the European-Parliament. Currently, she is also a Member of the Scientific Board of the Foundation of European Progressive Studies and of the Board of the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators. She was originally trained as an Historian MA and has additional courses in Portuguese and Spanish languages from Aarhus University, University of Lisbon and The Nordic Africa Institute in Uppsala, Sweden.
