President and Co-founder of DiploCientifica, the Science Diplomacy Network for Latin-America and the Caribbean. A diplomacy professional with experience as policy counsellor and project manager in international partnerships. He is an expert engaged in long-standing endeavours for the promotion of Science Diplomacy. His career focused in the intersection of scientific cooperation, international affairs, policy advice and global challenges. A ten-years-long commitment to internationalize Chilean STI has driven him towards a knowledgeable position to unfold Science Diplomacy. Pedro was head of the International Relations Unit at ANID – The Chilean Agency for Research and Development. He studied Political Science and International Relations.
